God I Love Kesha

Another sexy singer...sigh!

God I Love Britney

I love this song by Britney. So sexy in a classy sort of way. But the bit that gets me is the beginning and at 2:55.

Stickman's Bad Day, Part 2

Well, I found it. I searched under "bad day", "sniper game", and other words, until a sniper game happened to mention the key word ("bloody"). Of course, "Bloody Day Part 1".

So here it. Gory, but dare I say it fun.

Stickman's Bad Day, Part 1

I keep doing this. I am looking for a stick-man shoot-em up game by a French gamer. I had a bit of time looking for it last time and did I blog it then? No, I didn't. So. This is part one.

Part two, I hope, will be the blog of the aforementioned site.

Hot Day

Another hot day. First day of the Premiership. Second Charlton victory.

Strawberry Cafe Escape

Another R.E.G. - sorry - this one looks fun.

I Am So In Love With Alexandra Bastedo

I love ITV4 and the reruns of shows like Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), The Saint, Minder, The Sweeney, The Professionals and The Champions.

I love seeing the young actors then who are still with us today.

The young actresses then were beautiful, articulate and charming. Whilst most of them had guest-starring parts, like Kate O'Hara, Stephanie Beacham and Ann Lynn, few had leading parts.

Like Alexandra Bastedo. I am so captivated by her beauty and when I saw her in a couple of episodes of EastEnders I was so looking forward to her in the show, but alas, like Susan George, that was all it was. Seeing her in reruns of The Champions really lighens up my Sundays.

She even has a blog, good for her. And I have added it to my links.

Boxed Inn: Panic Room Game

This is a very good room escape game.

So easy.

It even saves your progress.

I'm playing it on two computers: home and work.

I'm still playing it!

Old and New Minder

Next week's New Tricks should be fun. The show stars ex-Minder Dennis Waterman. Guest star?

New Minder star Shane Ritchie guest stars.

Escape The Working Room

Just completed Escape the Working Room, a very nice and easy room escaper.

Come on, 'ave a go.

The Fog Fall Game

From the people who gave us the covert front games come this. A kind of post apocalyptic Threads type scenario.

Covert Front - A WW1 Espionage Game

This is a point and click game - like those rooms escape ones. It's a three parter and I started at no. 3.

I completed three and now one. The latter I did without the need of a walkthrough (cheats).

This is also a WW1 espionage game with eerie violin in Kaiser's Germany. Quite addictive.

Trapped (Game)

Interesting game this.

A Small Favour (Game)

From the people brought us Reemus, see below, here's a neat little game.

The Several Journeys of Reemus - The Collection

Now that you have had a taster and love the graphics and the groovy music. Come here for the the rest.

Journeys of Reemus - The Prologue

Before chapter one there's the prologue, "Lair of the Ant Queen." Great music, funny, the usual you'd expect from Reemus and his purple bear side-kick, Liam.

Play it here.

Journeys of Reemus

Journeys of Reemus is a game, but its more. There's a story, great music, and really fun. Only I played this weeks ago like The Visitor below, and like The Visitor I could not remember the name, but I remember I found from playing The Visitor. So revisiting The Visitor (haha) I found it and here it is. Give it a go, you might like it.

The Visitor

Sometimes you have to blog the games you played weeks ago. Otherwise you have to google goodness knows what to get there.

Take The Visitor. Cracking good, if somewhat gory game. Now I could not remember the title, The Visitor, so googled the images for ALIEN WORM GAME. And found it from there.

Here it is, you should have a go. Great graphics, moody music, the scene is magnificently set.

The next blog is the real reason behind finding the The Visitor.

Confederation Cup

A bit gutted to see USA go out to Brazil. Brazil who cheated RSA in the semis. Still never mind, eh?

I have been spending all day playing Room Escape games.

Now I am gonna chill.

Stephanie Beacham's Powers

I went to bed late last night (Saturday) being online doing goodness knows what and of course the telly was on. An 1968 episode of The Saint was on and starred many recognisable faces. I must have caught the last five minutes of it and I had seen the episode before a few years ago on ITV4 or Men & Motors. When it finished I channel hopped to Dave De Ja Vu or whatever the Dave +1 channel is called and caught an episode of Harry Enfield and Friends which I had no time for to be honest.

At 3:30am and dawn rising outside my window I went to bed. 7 hours later I awoke and charged my mobile. About as many hours later I remembered I was still charging my mobile phone.

After I awoke and had a shave the same episode of The Saint was on and I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it, because Roger Moore was good in it. Smooth, articulate, debonair and cool, he gave a totally realistic performance. His eye brows did conjure up send-ups of him on Spitting Image though.

For example. Roger scribbled something on a piece of paper followed by a picture of The Saint logo, but we never got to see it. Maybe Rog has a bit of Method in him.

But back to the point of this post. The stars in this episode, called Legacy For The Saint
. TP McKenna, Edward Brayshaw (Rentaghost's Mr Meaker), Kenneth Farrington (Corrie's Billy Walker/Emmerdale's Tom King), Reginald March and in her first television role, because she said so in the My First TV Performance segment of the Radio Times: Stephanie Beacham.

As a footnote did you know Roger Moore guest-starred in the 1997 film version? As a voice on a car-radio?

Div

I recorded Divided today, the teatime quiz show on ITV1 what replaced Jasper Carrott's Golden Balls (snigger) and what a load of tosh.

I am not going to slate Andrew Castle for his charmless style or go on about his eye-candy appeal to women viewers however the show is horrid.

Three people start off as "pals". Then they get questions which they have to unanimously have to answer from multiple choices and the prize money for each question runs down the longer they take. That's my first gripe. Prize money going down.

Then they have three lives and after that they go away with nothing. My second gripe.

At the end with any of their lives intact the "pals" turn on each other as the greed sets in as we reach the cusp of the show: dividing the loot. The show splits the money three ways but not equally, obviously. So they squabble about taking the top spot and in doing so the dividends drop.

There's nothing to like about this show. The producers ensure noone gets the money and if they do it won't be huge sums and at the same time our sympathies are no longer with the contestants. Makes me pine for 3-2-1!

Actually, I lie. I like it when the whole studio goes green when they get a correct answer.

Just a footnote. Not connected to Div-ided. Blogger froze on me and I thought I had lost the post above but it saved it as draft. So, Blogger, I love you.

The Crimanal Cleo Laine

Cleo sings, "All my sadness
All my joy
Came from loving
That thieiving boy....."

The YouTube is here.

The narrator kinda shoots himself in the foot selling us this movie, The Criminal, as he rattles off the stereotypes...

More Room Escape Games...and Jnr.

Stumbled across a Room Escape Game and was going to head straight into Escape Hotel 2, then decided to do 1 first. They're quite good and I recommend them.

First is this.

The second is this.

As with all these REGs there are walkthroughs (tips, solutions).

Sadly there are 5-10 second ads preceeding these, but don't let that hamper you.

-o-

I just love this.

Confederation Cup

I forgot MOTD was on today. On BBC3. I had missed 5 minutes of the game and had to PVR the rest of Coronation Street, Part I, EastEnders, Coronation Street, Part II and Big Brother.

I know the match finished around 9:15pm - way before Big Brother - but I wanted to watch Coronation Street and EastEnders first.

After that I was channel hopping, looking for films to watch, I started watching Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou, then switched to Batman. I always love the bit when Jack Nicholson says, "Never rub another man's rhubarb!"

USA with ten men took the lead, but lost 3-1 to Italy. The next game is on Wednesday unless there is a Red Button I am not aware of where South Africa play New Zealand.

WWTBAM

It's back.

Who Wants to be a Millionaire. So what's new? How about the first question? Hard or what?

Which of these countries gives its name to a type of goose?

A Russia B Canada C South Africa D New Zealand.

The poor woman had to ask the audience and went with 96% of them who rightly said it was [B Canada].

The Apprentice - Ladies Night

Watching the final of The Apprentice: Jasmina v Kate.
